The Class of '56 reports to Baker as freshmen.

The Class of '56 start their senior year in September.

1956

One hundred twelve members of the Class of '56 graduate in ceremonies held at the Baker High Auditorium at 8:00 PM on Wednesday, May 30.

The theme of the program was Past, Present, and Future. Shannon Neagles gave the invocation and Norman Cobb gave the address of welcome. Ola Jean Miller spoke on "Our American Heritage," Guy Wootan spoke on "Present Day Trends," and Lucy Ezzard spoke on "Youth Faces the Future." Mr. Louis C. Kunze of the Muscogee County Board of Education presented the diplomas. After the Class Song, Martha Johnson pronounced the benediction and the new graduates marched out to Pomp and Circumstance, played by the Baker High Band.
