Donna "Maria" Ross (Beeman), Class of '78

No activities. The most memorable moment was graduation. I didn't make it to rehersal, and we were told that if we didn't make it to rehersal then we could not graduate with the class. Well, I had a very good friend (Mrs. Papenfuss) that did some calling and managed to change their minds and let me graduate with the class. It also rained alot that night. The water in places were up to our car doors.

After graduation, I moved to Atlanta and worked at several fast food jobs. In 1979 I married a man from Columbus. We moved to Colorado in 1980. My Sister's and Brother had moved out the previous year. Our marriage lasted about 3 years, no children. I met my present husband (Eric) in Colorado. We married in 1986. We have 3 daughters: Melissa, Kimber and Andrea. We now live in Crete, Nebraska (GO BIG RED). I work at an Insurance Company in Lincoln (30 mile commute).

Since High School, I have gone back to school several times. First accounting and business math. I am presently taking courses in Insurance.

Besides enjoying my family and their activities, I enjoy crafting. I do craft shows periodically.

My goals are to grow old and see my children grow up happy.

February, 1998
