Jean Crittenden (Morris), Class of '46

I am Jean Crittenden Morris and I graduated from Baker in 1946. I went immediately to Georgia State College for Women, as I was barely 16 and Dad thought I was too young for the University. I was president of my class twice and President of the College Government Association my senior year. I was elected to Who's Who in American Colleges and Universities. I flew as a flight attendant for Delta Airlines for two years before marrying a pilot and having two children. The marriage ended in divorce and I became serious about a career in teaching, for which I had been prepared. I worked for Fulton County School System for 30 years, taught 7th grade ten years, and worked in administration the rest of the time. I remarried to Rex Morris, a building contractor who had also operated a Cessna Airplane operation in the 50's. I am now retired, living in Atlanta, doing all kinds of volunteer work, and enjoying grandchildren.
